Transportation Support, one of the biggest barriers for families — your support helps us get kids safely to and from camp
When you support The SouthSide Soul: you’re not just giving a young artist access to a studio — you’re giving them 165 hours of structured, professional-level creative development over 5 weeks.
That’s:
• 33 hours per week of hands-on music training
• In a studio that typically costs $100/hour — a $16,500 value
• At a fraction of the cost, thanks to your support
And that’s just the beginning. Your sponsorship also covers:
• Daily breakfast and lunch to fuel creativity
• Safe transportation to and from the studio
• Mentorship from working artists and producers
• A nurturing space for youth to grow as creators and leaders
You’re not just funding a summer camp — you’re investing in access, opportunity, and real change for young people with talent, drive, and big dreams.

• 35% of youth in Atlanta live below the poverty line
• At-risk youth are 3X more likely to attend schools without arts programming
• Over 60% of local teens lack access to creative mentorship or emotional support
• Suicide is now the second leading cause of death among youth aged 10–24
• Gun violence is the #1 cause of death for Black youth in America
• Georgia has one of the highest youth incarceration rates in the country
• Black professionals hold just 20% of jobs in Atlanta’s creative industries — despite the city’s global cultural influence
We’re dedicated to breaking these cycles — equipping young people with the tools, space, and unwavering support they need to rise, succeed, and transform their futures.

This Is Bigger Than Music
It’s about representation.
